With the latest release of jQuery (1.4) and with new releases being scheduled to be occurring on a more frequent basis, jQuery has really taken off and is now without a doubt the number one Javascript framework out there.

The weather has been absolutely stunning here in New Zealand around x-mas and NY and while I have been in the water most of the time, I have still managed to spend some time on new features for my open source project FlexPaper. A bunch of minor issues were also resolved.

It is far from perfect but after a bunch of corrections and optimizations (for large docs etc.) it is now ready enough to be considered to be a proper release.
